Festive French Connection Cocktail
The French Connection is a simple yet sophisticated cocktail that has stood the test of time. This very easy to make cocktail was the inspiration for our recipe. To add a festive flair, we’ve infused this classic with the creamy sweetness of eggnog, creating a holiday-inspired libation that’s sure to impress.
Ingredients
1.5 oz Cognac
1.5 oz Amaretto
2 oz Eggnog
Nutmeg and star anise, for garnish
Directions
- Chill a rocks glass in the freezer.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the cognac, amaretto, and egg nog.
- Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds to chill and blend the ingredients. Strain into the chilled rocks glass.
- Grate fresh nutmeg over the top of the drink and add one star anise pod for a festive touch.
